Men robbed in a home invasion
Two guest workers were robbed after two men forced their way into their apartment demanding money.
Police attended the incident which took place at the Rosemont Guest Apartments, in Pembroke, where two overseas contract workers were staying.
They said that at about 10.30 p.m. on Friday, they heard a knock at the door of their apartment.
When one of them answered two men forced their way in, demanding money.
The victims told the suspects they didn't have any and the intruders took a black and orange Sony Ericsson cellular phone and a black Dell laptop before escaping and riding west on Rosemont Avenue on a motorcycle. The victims were not injured.
Police said the two suspects were described as being well built. One was tall, while the other was short.
Both suspects were wearing black clothing and black helmets with black visors.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295 0011.
