Schoolgirl murder accused in court

A man charged with the murder of 14-year-old schoolgirl Rhiana Moore appeared in Magistrate's Court yesterday.
Ze Menefeskiduse Selassie, 32, of Battery Road, St.George's, represented in court by lawyer Elizabeth Christopher, was given a long form preliminary inquiry date for October 24. He will be remanded in Police custody until then.
Rhiana's body was found in the mangroves at Blue Hole Hill nature reserve in Hamilton Parish on May 31. She was last seen the evening before while attending a youth meeting at her church, the Radnor Road Christian Fellowship.
