United Bermuda Party Senator Suzann Roberts-Holshouser yesterday urged victims of domestic violence to seek help — particularly as tempers can flare at Christmas time.

Sen. Roberts-Holshouser said attacks on women increase as alcohol consumption goes up during the festive season.

During yesterday's Motion to Adjourn, she said anyone who feels they are at risk should take themselves out of that environment and get refuge with friends, or call the Physical Abuse Centre on 292-8278.
