A 43-year-old Warwick woman and a 31-year-old Southampton woman were involved in a road accident.

Police said the incident took place at the junction of Cobbs Hill Road and Ord Road, in Paget, on Tuesday evening.

It appeared that the 43-year-old was riding a motorcycle travelling along Cobbs Hill Road and the 31-year-old was driving a car on Ord Road when the vehicles collided.

The rider of the cycle sustained abrasions to her left leg and a sore back but was not admitted into hospital. The driver of the car was not injured. Both vehicles received moderate damage.
