An armed man made off with cash from a St George’s business last night.An employee working at the time was not injured during the robbery, which police report to have taken place around 11pm.“It appears that an unknown man entered the premises brandishing what appeared to be a firearm and demanded money. After taking a quantity of cash the thief fled the scene,” a Police spokesman said.The suspect is described as a light-skinned man, approximately 6ft. He was dressed in dark colours and wearing sunglasses at the time of the incident.Police are appealing for anyone with any information to contact the St George’s Criminal Investigation Unit on 293-2222 or the independent, confidential Crime Stoppers Bermuda hotline on 800-8477.
