Teen injured in crash airlifted to Boston

A 17-year-old St. George's man has been airlifted overseas for treatment of serious head injuries following a three-vehicle crash.
The Saltus student, who had been riding an auxiliary cycle, was flown to Massachusetts General Hospital from intensive care at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
The collision at 5.45pm on Monday also left a motorcycle rider, a 32-year-old Hamilton Parish man, with a hand injury.
The driver of a car, a 28-year-old Hamilton Parish woman, was not hurt.
The crash occurred at the junction of North Shore Road and Stonehaven Road in Hamilton Parish. Police have appealed for witnesses to contact Pc Romeo Allen at 295 0011.
