Premier and Governor to attend Business Bermuda in London

The Premier and Governor will promote the Island in London next week at an annual Business Bermuda event.Tourism and Business Development Minister Patrice Minors will join them at the Business Bermuda, formerly known as BIBA, Annual Financial Services Conference.Premier Paula Cox said the meeting has become a permanent fixture in the Island’s business calendar.“It is critically important that we consistently test the Bermuda model market-awareness in key jurisdictions,” she said. “It is another opportunity to underscore the message that we continue to be open and welcoming to business innovation and efficiency; speaking to market as well as regulatory reforms that uphold standards and is commercially savvy.”Ms Cox will deliver the keynote address to the attendees and underscore why global companies continue to choose Bermuda as their hub of operations. She will also be interviewed by a number of international news agencies.Meanwhile, Ms Minors will take part in a panel discussion on hotel and business development and provide the closing remarks.The event will take place on April 7 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel.Related websites:www.gov.bmwww.businessbermuda.org
