Bermuda lose to Uganda again

Bermuda's World Cricket League Division Two campaign ended in defeat today as they lost for a second time to Uganda. The two relegated sides were battling to finish fifth in a game that had nothing at stake except pride.Having failed to chase down a score in four attempts this week, Bermuda failed to set a decent total after winning the toss and batting first. In a game devoid of the energy of recent matches, Bermuda made a lively start with Dion Stovell (33) continuing his good work at the top of the order.David Hemp (44) and Fiqre Crockwell (32) also weighed in with useful runs, but the desire seemed to be lacking from the team, and they eventually capitulated for 193 with two overs remaining.Uganda's bowlers shared the wickets around, with Daniel Ruyange, Charles Waiswa and Davis Arinaitwe claiming two apiece.Bermuda made early inroads into the Ugandan top-order, with Roger Mukasa edging Stefan Kelly behind from the first ball of the innings. At 33 for three, the African side were in trouble, but a stand of 96 between Arthur Kyobe (65) and Benjamin Musoke, who was unbeaten on 62 rescued the innings.Kyobe's departure at 128 for four proved no more than a blip, and Musoke and Frank Nsubuga (38*) saw their side home with 3.4 overs to spare.
