Plane makes emergency stop for sick passenger

A plane bound for Toronto from Trinidad and Tobago made an emergency stop in Bermuda so a sick passenger could receive treatment.The Caribbean Airlines plane called at LF Wade International Airport at about 7.40pm on Sunday.The 66-year-old Canadian patient was greeted by police and first responders.She initially declined medical treatment, but later that evening requested medical care and was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance.The flight resumed its journey to its intended destination around noon on Monday.
