Police have not been able to confirm reports of gunshots in the Ord Road area this weekend.

A “thorough search” of the Warwick neighbourhood found nothing to substantiate claims of gunshots on Sunday night, a Police spokesman said.

“Around 11.15pm on Sunday, police responded to a report of a gunshot in the Ord Road, Warwick area. Officers made a thorough search of the vicinity and stop and searches were conducted.

“However, nothing was found to substantiate the report and there were no reported injuries.”
