Airlines resume regular operations tomorrow

Flights between Bermuda and the US are expected to return to normal tomorrow, with Continental Airlines planning an extra flight to accommodate stranded passengers.Airport duty officer Charlotte Bosch De Noya said this afternoon: “Continental will be having an extra flight as they have not flown Sunday and Monday, but apart from that I see nothing to suggest that we won’t be back to regular flights.”The airline offers regular flights between Bermuda and Newark, New Jersey.JetBlue will also return to a normal schedule tomorrow, with the carrier operating its first flight between Bermuda and New York since Hurricane Irene struck the US Northeast last week.“The aircraft that came in on Saturday from New York, that actually stayed in Bermuda, but it flew back at around 5pm,” Ms Bosch De Noya said.Useful website: www.bermudaairport.aero.
