Police were yesterday unable to confirm reports of gunshots in Pembroke.Officers launched an investigation in The Glebe Road area following reports that a gun had been fired there.Said a Police spokesman: “Around 2.20pm on Thursday, September 1, police responded to a report of gunshots in The Glebe Road/Orchard Grove, Pembroke area.Officers made a thorough search of the vicinity and spoke with area residents however, nothing was found to substantiate the report and there were no reported injuries.”
