Bermuda models on the runway in London
Four Bermudian beauties last night took to the catwalk as part of London Fashion Week.
Model Deandra Brangman, winner of Top Model Worldwide 2011, was joined by Julia Lines, Joann Nichols and Katie Arnfield, all finalists for Top Model UK 2012.
The Bermuda models hit the stage last night at 3.30pm Bermuda time (4.30pm in London) facing an audience of more than 200 spectators, incuding a number of representatives from the press.
They'll return to the walkway twice today, at 10.30am and 3.30pm local time.
The international designers showcased last night included Malam, Anniss, Omar Mansoor, Nad Lynski, Alja Slemenšek, Bint Thani and Kaveke.
Tonight's names are Luna Sky, Dina Said, Yu:I&Me, Cristina Cernei, Malgorzata Dudek, Ghori by Azim Khan and Monsura Boutique.
Local shop Daisy's is the official dresser for Ms Brangman, Ms Lines and Bermuda's second-place contender for Top Model UK 2012, Kalena Astwood.
Daisy's proprietor Dawn Zuill, on hand in London to watch Bermuda's four models take to the stage, said the fashion show audience was down to “standing room only”.
Speaking last night, Ms Zuill said: “Our girls stole the show by far.
“The girls have been working since early this morning with fittings, walks and preparation. They will end up suffering through a gruelling 14-hour day! What an intro in to the world of fashion.”
