CoH to turn on Christmas lights tonight

Hamilton is set to sparkle today as the city turns on Christmas lights for the holiday season.

To add to the spirit, the City of Hamilton is to close two streets to traffic every Friday Reid Street, from Burnaby Hill to Queen Street, and Court Street, from Elliott Street West to Victoria Street.

A shuttle service will transport shoppers to Bulls Head Car Park from City Hall Car Park and Dundonald Street at Court Street between 5.30pm and 9.30pm.

The road closures each Friday night will mean garbage must be put out by 4pm on Fridays.
