Kaleidoscope’s open house for the artfully minded

Whether you are a novice artist or experienced with getting your fingers wet, Kaleidoscope Arts Foundation (KAF) is inviting you out to their open house next Monday.KAF will be unveiling its new class schedule for January and wants to let the public know about the wide array of courses on offer for both adults and children. The open house will take place at their studio on Jubilee Road, Devonshire from 5.30pm until 7.30pm.Fiona Rodriguez-Roberts, the organisation’s founder, said: “We are doing the open house specifically so people that have never been here can come and talk to our teachers and get themselves or their children signed up for the right class.“This is a chance for people to see what we do and find out what we are offering and see our space. This is a way for us to reach out to a bigger portion of the community.”KAF offers a series of regular art courses from hands on art classes for toddlers and themed art classes for older children to mosaic and concrete sculpture classes for adults. These are offered both during the day and after-school, with prices ranging from $180 to $297 depending on the course and if the person is eligible for membership discounts.Registration for January 2012 is now open, with classes starting the week of January 9, 2012.Anyone interested in signing up for classes can e-mail info[AT]kaf.bm or call 542-9000.
