Police hold open house at HPS

The Hamilton Police Station will tomorrow stage an open house, intended to educate and engage Bermuda teenagers.

The event, to be held between 11am and 4pm, is geared towards high school students and will feature interactive presentations, including an explanation about recently introduced legislation making the use of mobile devices while driving an offence.

There will also be an informative presentation by the Mirrors programme.

A Police spokesman said: “The Island’s high schools, both public and private, have been invited to take part.

“This is yet another initiative highlighting the benefit of positive police interaction with the public, particularly our young people, as we continue policing with the community.”
