Two hurt in crash

A collision between two motorcycles in Southampton left both riders needing medical attention.

A police spokesman said that shortly before 10.45pm on Monday, the cycles crashed on Middle Road, near the junction with Pompano Beach Road.

Both riders, a 35-year-old Pembroke man and a 42-year-old Sandys woman, were taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment, but while the Pembroke man was later released, the Sandys woman yesterday remained in hospital.

Anyone with information about the collision is asked to contact Pc Barbi Harris on 295-0011.
