A Canadian father and daughter involved in a single vehicle accident in Sandys on Saturday have both been released from King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

The accident occurred on Mangrove Bay Road around 1.55pm. Police say they both sustained injuries when the father, who was riding a rented livery cycle collided with the sidewalk. The 52-year-old man and his seven-year-old daughter were taken to the Emergency Ward by ambulance. A hospital spokesperson confirmed they were both released after receiving treatment.
