Dog goes missing after accident

A family is searching for a missing dog after it ran off following an accident.

Paddle, a black Labrador, was struck by a scooter outside the Port Royal Gas Station on Monday and ran from the area frightened. Owner Ben Nicholls said since then he, his family and friends have been on the lookout for the dog.

“[Wednesday] morning we received a few calls saying that Paddle had been seen in Sandys next to Sandys Middle School on Scotts Road,” he said. “We were up there today, but there was no sign of her.

“She is a very friendly, relaxed dog, so if people can just go out to their gardens and yell ‘Paddle’ a couple of times, I’m sure she would turn up.”

Anyone with information about Paddle’s whereabouts is asked to contact Mr Nicholls at 536-8855.
