Today’s incoming British Airways flight was suspended, due to a mechanical problem with the aircraft back at Gatwick Airport.
As a result, today’s outgoing flight 2232 has also been cancelled.
BA spokeswoman Sallie Singleton apologised to customers on behalf of the company but stressed that it was just today’s flight. Ms Singleton said she could not provide details on the fault with the aircraft in the UK.
