Police are searching for a convicted burglar in breach of his probation conditions.A public appeal for assistance in finding 36-year-old Kawesi Simba Wilson, was launched this afternoon.Wilson was sentenced to two years' probation in February on two counts of burglary. He was given specific conditions as part of his probation, when he appeared before Magistrates' Court.Said a Police spokesman: "Wilson has now breached these conditions resulting in the Magistrates' Court issuing a warrant for his arrest on Thursday, April 26. The Bermuda Police Service and Probation Services' efforts in trying to locate Wilson have to date been unsuccessful.Wilson is described as a brown-skinned male with a short afro.He is said to be of medium build, approximately 5ft 8in, and weighing 170 pounds.Anyone with information is asked to telephone 295-0011 or the confidential Crime Stoppers hotline, 800-8477.
