A 56-year-old Sandys Parish man remains listed in stable condition in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit following a single vehicle motorcycle accident near Longford Hill in Warwick.The accident occurred around 8.45pm on Wednesday on Middle Road. A police spokesman said inquiries were continuing.Witnesses or anyone with any information regarding this collision is urged to contact PC Kevin Medeiros at the Somerset Police Station on 234-1010.Meanwhile, police have also issued an advisory to motorcycle owners to take extra precautions following an increase in cycle thefts from various locations throughout the island.A spokesman said: “When parking a motorcycle outside overnight, it should be appropriately secured and left in a well-lit and busy area if possible.” Handlebar locks and other good quality locks are also recommended.And members of the public are urged to report any suspicious activity or individuals near parked motorcycles or other vehicles by calling the main police number on 295-0011.
