Cabinet holds its weekly meeting at the National Sports Centre

Premier Paula Cox gave her official congratulations to Somerset Cricket Club for winning this year's Cup Match Classic.

Government Ministers met at the National Stadium yesterday for their weekly Cabinet meeting.When contacted by The Royal Gazette, Premier Paula Cox said the change in venue was not unprecedented.“From time to time, Cabinet does meet at other venues,” she said.“Earlier this summer, a Cabinet meeting was held at the offices of the West End Development Corporation in Dockyard.“Today, the Cabinet held its meeting in the Pavilion on the North Field of the National Sports Centre.“While there, Ministers toured the site of the aquatics centre and noted the advanced state of progress on construction of the 50 metre swimming pool. We look forward to its completion later this year.”
