A Warwick family fled their home today morning after a motorcycle burst into flames in their driveway.According to a spokeswoman for the Bermuda Fire Service said that at around 12.50am, they received a report of two vehicles and a Harbour Road home were on fire.“The first appliance arrived on scene at approximately 1am to discover that a motorcycle was fully involved in fire, which caused a nearby parked car to be partially involved as well as flames impinging on the nearby house,” the spokeswoman said.A total of three vehicles and ten firefighters were sent to the scene and quickly extinguished the blaze, however the motorcycle was destroyed and the front of a Suzuki APV car was partially destroyed. The house itself suffered minor smoke and heat damage, but a nearby garage door was destroyed. It is understood that the residents had fled the home after discovering the fire, running to a nearby golf course. The fire service spokeswoman said the cause of the fire is not considered suspicious, but the matter will still be thoroughly investigated.
