Plumbing problems shut nursery

Plumbing problems caused the Happy Valley Child Care Centre to close down yesterday.

A Government spokesman said it is expected the school would reopen this morning.

“Child & Family Services has advised that the Happy Valley Child Care Centre currently has no running water at their facility,” the spokesman stated.

“Works & Engineering are working to fix the plumbing problem.”

The school is the second to close in less than a week due to plumbing issues. Dellwood students were sent home early on Friday due to plumbing problems.
