Wall collapses on Angle Street

Motorists experienced traffic delays near Dellwood Middle School yesterday after a wall collapsed in the area.

No-one was injured as a result of the collapse; Public Works staff were last night working to make repairs.

Traffic was reduced to one lane between Cedar Avenue and Brunswick Street, a spokeswoman for the City of Hamilton said.

“The Eastbound lane will remain closed until further notice,” she added. “Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use extreme caution in the area. The City apologises for any inconvenience caused.”
