BHS hopes fair proceeds will top $10,000

Organisers of the Bermuda High School Annual Spring Fair are optimistic that proceeds for this year’s event will break the $10,000 mark.

Funds are still being tallied from the “whole school effort” put on this weekend by the BHS PTA, said parent Jacqui Wilmott.

Hundreds attended the fair, which will help pay for school equipment — notably digital SMART boards, to replace traditional white boards.

A Primary Four through Six Talent Show included dance and gymnastics, a magic show and solo musical performances.

Fundraising effort: Primary Six children Leila Prado and Casey Morris entered the Talent Show in their specially designed costumes with a choreographed rendition of the song ‘Dance With Me Tonight’.
