Roadworks start near airport

Resurfacing work were scheduled to start at the Kindley Field Road roundabout near the LF Wade International Airport entrance this morning.The Ministry of Public Works announced last night that the work would take place between 6am and 11am today and at a similar time tomorrow.“These resurfacing works are intended to improve the skid resistance of the road surface on the roundabout,” the Ministry stated. “The work is being carried out at the times stated to avoid the peak traffic flow to the airport.”During the resurfacing works one lane will remain open at all times under traffic control.The Ministry apologised for any inconvenience caused to motorists.
