Sponsorship continues for late night CADA taxi service

CADA’s successful late night taxi service will continue with Bacardi Limited as its lead sponsor.

Thousands of people have benefited from the Let Us Drive service since it started, CADA chairman Anthony Santucci said.

“On behalf of CADA’s board, I extend my sincere appreciation to Bacardi Limited, which will continue its $20,000 lead sponsorship of the Let Us Drive service for the seventh consecutive year,” he said. “To date, this service has taken home more than 9,000 people. With its ongoing support, Bacardi Limited ensures that people who have been out late on a Friday night have a free, safe and reliable ride home.”

Bacardi director Clara Fay said the company was “very pleased” to continue its sponsorship.

“Our focus remains on effective self-regulatory codes, education, retailer programs, and traffic safety initiatives,” she said. “We congratulate CADA for creating and administering Let Us Drive and applaud everyone involved.”

Let Us Drive taxis are available every Friday between 3.15am and 3.45am outside the LOM Building on Reid Street.
