Police are investigating after a man was injured while illegally riding a racing bike in Paget.The man is now being treated in hospital after the motorcycle and a truck collided in an accident on Mission Road around 11.30am yesterday.“The male motorcyclist was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where he is being treated for serious leg injuries,” said a police spokesman.“It should be noted that this vehicle was not licensed and insured to be on Bermuda’s roads and its engine capacity superseded the legislated requirements.“A formal investigation into this collision is underway.”Anyone who witnessed the accident or has information about the bike is asked to telephone 295-0011.
