Seniors’ tea to take over free parking bays

A number of free parking bays in Hamilton won’t be available tomorrow to accommodate people attending a seniors’ tea.

The City of Hamilton is hosting the tea at 2pm at Victoria Park.

Parking bays on Dundonald and Washington Streets will be blocked off from 5am until 5pm as a result.

Said a City spokeswoman: “The City of Hamilton apologises for any inconvenience these parking bay closures may cause. Alternatively, nearby parking is available at City Hall Car

Park and Bull’s Head Car Park.”
