BIOS gets funding for interns

The Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences (BIOS) has been given funding by the National Science Foundation for its Research Experiences for Undergraduates Programme.

The programme will support internships at BIOS this fall, giving eight undergraduate students hands-on experience with research projects.

Selected students would reside at BIOS and recieve a stipend. The programme is eligible only to US citizens or permanent residents who have completed at least one year of undergraduate study.
