East End garbage collection delays

Households in the East End will not have garbage picked up until Tuesday, Government said yesterday.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Public Works said: “We wish to inform residents in the East End of the Island that there was a delay in the collection of garbage yesterday Friday, June 14.

“Residents are advised to store garbage in a convenient and secure place over the holiday weekend and it will be picked up on the next scheduled collection date, Tuesday, June 18.”
