CURB names new president

Mark Nash has been named president of Citizens Uprooting Racism in Bermuda.He was selected by the group’s central council to fill a vacancy left by outgoing president Cordell Riley.Mr Nash will sit in the post until the organisation’s next annual general meeting, a spokeswoman said.“Mark has been a member of CURB for a number of years having previously been a member-at-large on the central council and more recently a member of CURB’s communications working group.“Mark is particularly interested in continuing CURB’s existing advocacy, education, racial justice and reconciliation efforts while bringing more focus to the areas of racial healing and community engagement.
