Wi-Fi service launched in Hamilton

The City of Hamilton has launched a Wi-Fi service for subscribers, in tandem with TeleBermuda International Ltd (TBi).

The joint venture was by Hamilton Mayor Graeme Outerbridge, who said the service will deliver high-speed internet access throughout the city.

Mr Outerbridge said the introduction of a City Wi-Fi service last year had proved popular.

“We are now ready to move to the next step where residents and visitors alike can use the Wi-Fi service in and around Hamilton at their convenience while visiting, working, shopping or dining in the city,” he said.

Access cards for a daily, weekly or monthly subscription to City Wi-Fi are available at the City’s administration offices, or from TBi.
