Two punts stolen in St George’s

Police are investigating after two punts were reported stolen in St George’s.

The punts were stolen last week from Scott’s Harbour, near the Swing Bridge.

Said a Police spokesman: “The first,

BB Gun, is described as green in colour with a blue bottom measuring 5ft by 3ft and was removed sometime between 4pm Saturday, July 20 and 9.30am Sunday, July 28.

“The second is described as a white fiberglass punt, measuring 6ft long [and] bearing registration decal #649, was removed sometime between 4pm Saturday, July 27 and 7.45am Sunday, July 28.”

Anyone with any information about the punts is asked to contact Marine Unit on 247-1770.
