US Marine Sgt, a US-Bermuda citizen, is keynote speaker

Former US Marine Corps Sergeant David Perinchief will be the keynote speaker at the next informational meeting hosted by US Consul General Robert Settje.

Sgt Perinchief, a dual US-Bermuda citizen who also served in Iraq, will address fellow veterans, their family members and caregivers on Thursday.

Currently working for the Military Order of the Purple Heart assisting veterans in obtaining VA and other benefits, he will also be on hand to answer any questions participants may have.

The meeting will be held at Mr Settje's official residence, Cedarhurst on Wilkinson Avenue, in Hamilton Parish, at 7.30pm.

Mr Settje will also be on hand with Consulate staff in American Citizens Services.

Participants must confirm attendance via e-mail by giving their name and the name of the person who will accompany them.
