Bermuda Nights rained off

A free evening of top musical entertainment has been cancelled because of expected bad weather.

This month's Bermuda Nights, which is organised by the Tourism Ministry, was scheduled to take place at Barr's Bay Park in Hamilton tomorrow evening. Featured acts included The Unit, Sia Spence, Island Teaser and Jahstice.

But this morning a Ministry spokesman announced that the event has been postponed until next Saturday, October 5, due to expected poor weather conditions.

According to the Bermuda Weather Service, a low pressure system will hit the Island from the southwest tomorrow morning bringing strong winds, widespread showers and a risk of thunder. Unsettled conditions, including gale force gusts, will continue into Sunday.
