Police identify man found dead

Police today named Arthur Botelho as the 56-year-old found dead in St George's yesterday afternoon.

The St George's resident "was found in a compromised state in the Barry Road, St George's area around 3pm", a spokesman said.

An on-call physician pronounced him dead at the scene. Foul play is not suspected.

"A family liaison officer has been assigned to Mr Botelho's family to assist them at this difficult time," the spokesman continued.

"An investigation into this sudden death is ongoing; however foul play is not suspected.

"The Bermuda Police Service extends condolences to the family and friends of Mr Botelho."
