Woman and child injured in road crash

A mother and one of her children were injured after smashing into a wall in St George's this week.

The accident happened on Great Bay Road just before 8am on Tuesday, causing extensive damage to the front of the car.

A police spokesman said: “The driver, a 30-year-old St George's woman, sustained minor injuries.

“Two children were passengers in the vehicle at the time of the collision. One child also received minor injuries while the other was not injured.”
