Premier ‘encouraged and proud’ after London meet and greet
Premier Craig Cannonier hosted his first Bermuda Networking event in London, meeting more than 100 Europe-based Bermudians in a crowded hotel ballroom Saturday.
Mr Cannonier said attendees “were They were hungry hear from the government and to equally share their views and ideas for making Bermuda a better place”.
Mr Cannonier added: “I'm very encouraged and proud. We've got a great group of passionate Bermudians who represent us on all levels outside of the island.”
During the meeting, the Premier detailed his One Bermuda Alliance's vision of “social and economic equality for everyone”, an affordable Bermuda, “paying jobs” for Bermudians, safe neighbourhoods and “great schools for great students”.
He explained that the party was working hard to develop the economy and that the time for backward-looking, partisanship was over.
The Bermuda Networking event was organised by Government's London Office.
