Opening of Parliament set for November 8

Members of the public have been invited to witness the Convening of Legislature ceremony on Friday, November 8.

The event is scheduled to begin at 10am on the grounds of the Cabinet Office, where Governor George Fergusson will deliver the Speech from the Throne at about 11am.

The Bermuda Regiment will provide a Guard of Honour as Members of Parliament, led by Premier Craig Cannonier, gather to hear Mr Fergusson read the Government's legislative agenda for the coming year.
