A motorcycle rider is in a critical condition after a serious collision on Malabar Road, Sandys in the early hours of today.The 23-year-old Sandys man was badly injured when the motorcycle he was riding was involved in a collision with an SUV near the junction with Kitchener Road around 1.15am.The motorcycle rider was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital, where he is listed as 'critical' in the intensive care unit.There were no other injuries reported in the incident, however both vehicles were damaged, the motorcycle extensively.Any witnesses who can assist accident investigators are encouraged to contact PC Gavin Richardson at the Somerset Police Station on 234-1010.
