Shoppers are being encouraged to spend their Christmas dollars in Bermuda through a city-wide windows display competition.

The contest comes as a result of meetings between the Late Night Shopping Committee, which comprises the City of Hamilton team, the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce, Belco and BEDC/EEZA, and retailers.

Some 20 Hamilton shops will take part in the competition which begins tomorrow.

Consumers will be able to vote for their favourite window until December 16 at 5pm - winners will be announced over the following two days.

There are three ways that shoppers can vote: online at the City of Hamilton Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/corporationofhamilton), ballots boxes at Late Night Shopping on Friday evenings, and ballot boxes at City Hall on Monday.
