Education Paper open to more submissions

The Ministry of Education has extended the deadline for submissions to the ‘Inclusive and Special Education Discussion Paper: Getting It Right for Every Child’ to December 13.

People can also pose questions or give oral submissions directly to the Ministry of Education’s policy analyst at 278-3311.

“We believe that a radically different approach is needed, therefore, we propose to bring education in Bermuda fully into the 21st century through inclusive and special education,” said Education Minister, Nalton Brangman, when he tabled the discussion paper in the House of Assembly in July.

“[This] . . . launches a public consultation on inclusive and special education. And we hope that everyone who has an interest and stake in Bermuda’s children will participate,” he added.

Submissions can be e-mailed to educationconsultation@moed.bm.
