Two motorists in hospital following separate crashes

A 55-year-old man is in stable condition in hospital after he crashed his motorcycle into a wall on Poinciana Road in Devonshire on Saturday night.

The man, from Pembroke, was travelling north when he apparently lost control of his cycle at around 9.45pm.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may seen the collision to contact Pc Milen Simons on 295-0011.

And a second motorcyclist was rushed to hospital following a crash in Paget in the early hours of this morning.

A police spokesman confirmed that the single-vehicle accident happened on Harbour Road near the junction with Salt Kettle Road at around 2.30am.

The 28-year-old Warwick victim is now in a stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit of King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
