A man has been arrested after assaulting and robbing a man of his phone aboard a bus on Middle Road in Warwick.

A 22-year-old man, who attacked an 18-year-old male passenger, was caught after fleeing the vehicle into the Khyber Pass area at about 10.15pm yesterday.

The victim received minor injuries. His assailant is expected to face charges in court.
