Traffic on Point Finger Road will be limited to a single lane this weekend as work on the new Acute Care Wing continues.

D & J Construction will be carrying out work adjacent to the Beresford Swan Dialysis Unit on Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting.

“This work is to provide Belco with underground ducts to the transformer on the current Dialysis property,” a Bermuda Hospitals Board spokeswoman said. “The road will be excavated in two halves to allow single lane traffic to be maintained.

“During this work temporary traffic controls will be in place. Work will be completed over the weekend to allow the traffic restrictions to be removed Sunday evening. Paget Health Services apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.”
