Members of the public are invited to a town hall meeting hosted by Police Commissioner Michael DeSilva this week.

The meeting is at Somerset Primary School at 6pm on Thursday, when Mr DeSilva will be joined by Deputy Commissioner Mike Jackman and Assistant Commissioners Paul Wright and Antoine Daniels.

A police spokesman said: “This event will give the public an opportunity to hear the current strategies that the police are using to tackle crime as well as ask any questions about policing in our community.

“We encourage members of the public to come out and participate. Your voice matters and your perspective is important.”
