Woman in court after alleged bus driver assault

Cinamin Lovell, the woman accused of assaulting a bus operator on February 10, appeared in Magistrates’ Court this morning.

Ms Lovell, of Malabar Road, Sandys, was also accused of using threatening words against bus operator Fabian Harris on November 16 last year.

Mr Harris uploaded a video of the verbal attack on YouTube this month after Ms Lovell allegedly assaulted another bus operator, Juliette Pearman Tucker.

The 22-year-old denied the allegations and elected for a Magistrates’ Court trial.

For the alleged assault against Ms Pearman Tucker, Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released Ms Lovell on $2,000 bail with one surety and set a trial date for May 14.

She will appear on April 11 to face the charge of using threatening words against Mr Harris.
